Practitioner in Training

I’m currently studying to be a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner through Nutritional Therapy Association. I will be done in May 2019!

What is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner? How will it help your journey to health? A Nutritional Therapy Practitioner is a holistic practitioner who is comprehensively trained to support in alleviating and preventing illness and disease. as well as promoting balanced health. A good practitioner focuses on the individual and they work together with dietary needs along with their physician to create optimal health. A Practitioner will use the innate wisdom of the body to physically test points on the body and how it responds, called a Functional Evaluation.

What I’ve learned so far…

The Human Body is AMAZING! We knew that already, right?

Fresh Vegetables are Life Force!!! Latin word for vegetables means “to enliven or animate” Eating those vegetables and fruit in their purest form or whole form is best. Eat lots of dense dark leafy greens, for every meal!

Eat Variety. Eat the Rainbow. Do you ever get bored of the same old favorite meals? Mix it up. Food is like an adventure for your mouth.

Not one diet works for everyone. Yes you heard it, I won’t advocate for one special diet.

Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate. Water is Life. Approximately 60% of your body is water. Water or H2O aids in every function of your body. Get yourself a beautiful reusable water bottle and empty it everyday.
